about

Around 1995 Massimo del Pozzo and Bruno Apostoli of Rome's own Garage Punk band The Others decided to start a phantom Surf band.
The twosome went into their practice pad with the band's classic primal four track cassette tape-recorder to cut the first instrumental entitled "The Hipster". This little tune received great reviews from Surf enthusiasts and eventually found its place in an international Surf compilation released on Sony Music, "It's A Bikini World!", upon request by Los Angeles journalist Domenic Priore who was and still is a central figure in the Surf Scene. "The Hipster was also included in the first volume of the "Surf's Up!" series on Misty Lane records that same year.
The next move was to re-enter the practice pad and cut four more instrumentals that are featured in their very first own 7" EP, released in 1996 on Misty Lane Records as volume three of the "Surf's Up!" series.
Massimo (A.k.a. the Baron /Brian/ Carlo...) played all guitars and bass and even on a couple of drums' tracks; Bruno who's been The Others bass player since 1993 had fun on drums and occasional bass too).
Enjoy these two nuts heads with 4 arms and 8 hands at work and play during a boring summer in the city of Rome!
