Chi conosce gli Others sa che il percorso da loro intrapreso una decina d'anni fa non poteva che riportarli al punto di partenza. "Everything's There!" nei fatti non esce oggi ma nell'autunno del 1966, questo è il dato che emerge all'ascolto di un discole quale il complesso romano, forte dell'esperienza maturata, torna a citare nomi classici quali Love, Byrds, Eyes, Seeds, Count V, ovvero i sixties nella loro essenza. Un'operazione coraggiosa in un epoca di esasperata settorializzazione che consente a chi vi si accosta di vivere sensazioni cancellate in parte dalla memoria. In "Everything's There!" c'è la struggente malinconia del migliore Folk-Rock, la carica primordiale del Beat europeo, la Psychedelia acerba e gli impasti vocali del tardo Garage californiano. Un album perso nelle nebbie del tempo,concettualmente perfetto, tutt'altro che facile. Scontato in questo caso parlare di purezza. Le covers prescelte ("Be a Friend" dei Morning Dew, "The Life I Live" dei Q65 non suonano sixties, sono sixties) e il fascino crepuscolare brani come "Call My Name"e a "Trip On The Grass" dicono che gli Others hanno toccato il punto più alto della loro ricerca.
"Everything's There!", giocato sull'alternarsi di tinte tenui e più decise, è il discordi una grande Garage band uscito per caso a due anni dal duemila, una lezione per chi sostiene che le sensazioni più intense siano esclusivamente legate al nuovo. Come dice il titolo, è tutto là, nei sixties. Difficile obiettare.
