New hot trio debut EP. Two guys and a girl from Florence developing an editing mix of late sixties psych garage with pink-floydian (Barrett) echoes, freakbeat, pop psych and even current indie vibes.
These guys dominate the psychedelic matter with inspiration and class. Exciting and penetrating melodies and a well measured use of reverberation, tremolo and fuzz compose an hypnotic sound which make Plastic Man a guide to a trip into an extrasensory reality. If their bodies live in Italy, their spirits float in a psych space between London (circa 1967) and the beating heart of the neo-psych scene (Austin Psych Fest, Texas).

Il trio fiorentino, attivo dal 2012, dimostra nelle quattro tracce del suo sette pollici targato Teen Sound di dominare la materia psichedelica con estro e classe.
Piace la tessitura delle melodie, sempre ficcanti (freschissima Light & Dark), l’uso ben dosato del riverbero, il suono rotondo dell’insieme (notevoli le tinte giocosamente psicotiche di Trap, o il passo sghembo del brano eponimo). Il naturale aplomb barrettiano della scrittura sa contaminarsi con un gusto garage di marca “classica”, comunque libero da tentazioni manieristiche (la malinconia liquida di Atlantis ne è un perfetto esempio).
